Seal of Quality Program Pre-Qualify Checklist

Thank you for your interest in the Hawaii Seal of Quality (SOQ) Program, a statewide branding program to promote genuine, Hawaii-Grown, Hawaii-Made, Premium agricultural products.  Please review the requirements below to determine if your product qualifies for the SOQ program prior to submitting an application with your $50 application fee. Requirements for Unprocessed/Fresh Produce (includes green coffee)

Grown/Raised in Hawaii with minimum grade if applicable

Labels must be reviewed and approved by the DOA Quality Assurance Division, Measurement Standards Branch.  Email proposed label to: [email protected]

 

Requirements for Processed/Value-added Products

Product must be a minimum of 51% Hawaii origin (ingredients and/or value-added)
Manufactured, assembled, fabricated, or produced in Hawaii
 Tax ID number
Food Safety Certificates if applicable
DOH Food Establishment Permit if applicable
