Aquatic Animals

1.   Request for (1) Preliminary Review of Various Unlisted Fish Species: Midwater Eelpout (Melanostigma pammelas); Pallid Eelpout (Lycodapus mandibularis); Blacktail Snailfish (Careproctus melanurus); Shortspine Thornyhead (Sebastolobus alascanus); Longspine Thornyhead (S. altivelis); Pacific Grenadier (Coryphaenoides acrolepis); and Flatnose Codling (Antimora microlepis), for Future Placement on the List of Restricted Animals (Part A) for Import for Scientific Research by the University of Hawaii at Manoa (UHM); (2) Establish Permit Conditions for the Importation of the Various Aforementioned Fish Species for Scientific Research by UHM; (3) Allow the Importation of the Various Aforementioned Unlisted Fish Species Under Special Permit for Scientific Research by UHM; and (4) Establish Permit Conditions for the Importation of the Various Aforementioned Unlisted Fish Species Under Special Permit for Scientific Research by UHM

2.   Request to: (1) Allow, by Special Permit, the Importation and Release of the Currently Unlisted Parasitic Wasp Eurytoma sp. nr. radicicola Risbec 1952  Hymenoptera: Eurytomidae) for Scientific Research (Biological Control of the Erythrina Gall Wasp, Quadrastichus erythrinae Kim); and 2) Establish Permit Conditions for the Importation and Release of the Parasitic Wasp, Eurytoma sp. nr. radicicola Risbec Against the Erythrina Gall Wasp, Quadrastichus erythrinae Kim, a Destructive Pest Currently Affecting Wiliwili (Erythrina sandwichensis), for Scientific Research (Biological Control)

3.   Request to: (1) Allow, by Special Permit, the Importation and Release of the Currently Unlisted Parasitic Wasp Aroplectrus dimerus Lin, for Scientific Research (Biological Control of the Stinging Nettle Caterpillar, Darna pallivitta Moore); and (2) Establish Permit Conditions for the Importation and Release of the Parasitic Wasp, Aroplectrus  dimerus Lin against the Stinging Nettle Caterpillar,Darna pallivitta (Moore), for Scientific Research (Biological Control)
