  1.  Request to:  (1) Allow the Importation of Non-Mutant and Characterized Mutant    Strains of a Nematode, Caenorhabditis elegans, on the List of Conditionally Approved Animals, for Laboratory Research and Classroom Studies by the University of Hawaii; and (2) Establish Permit Conditions for the Importation of Non-Mutant and Characterized Mutant Strains of a Nematode,Caenorhabditis elegans, on the List of Conditionally Approved Animals, for Laboratory Research and Classroom Studies by the University of Hawaii

                         Action:  Approval

  2.  Ratification of Board of Agriculture Approval of (1) Permit to Import Nile Tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, for Scientific Research by Dr. James Szyper of the University of Hawaii at Hilo (UH-Hilo); and (2) Establish Permit Conditions for the Importation of Nile Tilapia for Scientific Research by UH-Hilo.
