Agricultural Resource Management Division

The Hawai`i Department of Agriculture (HDOA) will be replacing irrigation water meters starting in August 2021 and ending in January 2022.  Work hours will be Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.  In addition to replacing water meters and valves, work will be performed on other miscellaneous irrigation system components.

The streets affected are Mahiku Place, Kakaina Street, Waikupanaha Street, Mahailua Street, Mooiki Street, Kaulukanu Street, Mokulama Street, Makakalo Street, Ahiki Street, and Nonokio Street.  Irrigation system customers can expect a temporary disruption of service when the crews are in that area, that should last not more than six hours per day.  A detailed schedule of water shut-down times will be provided in a separate notice as the contractor progresses through the project. Motorists and pedestrians are advised to proceed with caution through the construction areas.
