Pesticide Disposal Program

Happy New Year and Welcome to the Hawai‘i Department of Agriculture’s (“HDOA”) 2025 Pesticide Disposal Program (“PDP”) webpage! The HDOA is excited to announce the return of the PDP for 2025.
From September 2023 – August 2024, the HDOA successfully hosted the first PDP in over 16 years and expanded the program to the entire state of Hawai‘i. Eligible participants included farms, such as, nurseries, greenhouse operators, crops, and livestock. Additionally, pesticide dealers, licensed pest control operators, golf course operators, landscape professionals, certified pesticide applicators, city and state agencies, and other commercial end users of pesticides were eligible.
THE HDOA PDP was an available, affordable, and environmentally friendly way for commercial users of pesticides to properly dispose of up to 250 lbs of canceled, suspended, unwanted, and unlabeled (“CSUU”) pesticides and pesticidal wastes for FREE!
