2017 F2S SYMPOSIUM
The 2017 HI F2S SYMPOSIUM will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center 8/30/2017 from 12:00 noon – 5:00pm
(immediately after the AG2107 CONFERENCE concludes).
Attend the 2017 Hawaii Farm to School Symposium to learn about new F2S resources, explore successful procurement strategies connecting with local growers, discuss advancing agricultural education across Hawai`i, and bust some myths on school gardens, composting, and cafeteria rules with F2S pioneers and department officials. Outstanding F2S Programs across Hawai`i will also be recognized in a parade of programs and awards ceremony!

F2S AWARDS – Innovative & inspirational F2S Programs will be recognized with HDOA’s 2017 F2S Awards at the Symposium!
PARADE OF F2S PROGRAMS – The 2017 F2S Conference will start with a parade of farm to school programs showcasing the many themes of farm to school programs across Hawaii! Gather your students, parents, garden coordinators, teachers, and others to develop a fun parade presentation (dress-up, march with a banner, carry your harvest, get creative)!
HAWAIIAN HARVEST OF THE MONTH SUMMER ARTWORK CONTEST
Show how you connect with Hawaiian Harvests – share your artistic talents for a chance to WIN!
- Winning Artwork will be integrated into Hawaii Department of Agriculture’s Hawaiian Harvest Farm to School (F2S) Outreach Materials
- Finalists Artwork will be displayed at the 2017 AG-CONFERENCE (8/29 – 8/30/2017)
- Winners will receive AWARDS at the 2017 F2S SYMPOSIUM (8/30/2017)
- Deadline to submit is Tuesday, August 15th, 2017
