Agriculture depends on pollinators and to recognize their importance, the public is welcome to join Governor Neil Abercrombie and other officials to proclaim next week as Hawaii Pollinator Week.  The Governor will also sign in to law, SB482, which will help honey producers to sell their product with less regulations.

The event will be held on Monday, June 17th from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at the Hawaii State Capitol, Room 312.

In addition to the Governor, HDOA Chairperson Russell S. Kokubun and Deputy Scott Enright and other officials will present remarks.

Honey tasting and light refreshments containing pollinated products will be served.
