Another Farmer Resource Workshop in Kunia April 11
Posted on Apr 1, 2014 in MainDue to popular demand, another Farmer Resource Workshop will be held on Friday, April 11 from 5 to 9 p.m. at the Hawaii Agricultural Research Center in Kunia. The workshop is free and opened to farmers who would like to learn more about the services available from state and federal agencies, including: the U.S. Department of Agriculture, University of Hawaii College of Tropical Agriculture and Human Resources, state Department of Health and the Hawaii Department of Agriculture.
Topics covered include financial assistance, insurance programs. conservation programs, marketing, pesticides application, food safety and more.
Pesticide applicators may earn 1.5 credits towards their certification for restricted use pesticides.
