Hawaii products represent quality and freshness and HDOA spreads the word along with the Aloha here at home and around the world through the Buy Local, It Matters and the Hawaii Seals of Quality programs.

HDOA’s Animal Industry Division inspects incoming livestock animals to prevent diseases and parasites from entering the state.  It also conducts animal disease surveillance to monitor the health of animals in Hawaii.

Hawaii’s farmers and ranchers depend on affordable irrigation water. HDOA’s Agriculture Resource Management Division works hard to keep Hawaii’s aging irrigation systems in service.
